Why is it paused?
I really have no idea why the creator had paused SD all of a sudden, and already it's beginning to frustrate me and I know I'm not the only one suffering from it. It's the only thing that has made my internet life more worthwhile over the past couple of months.
Just in case if there's more bad news concerning it, I've found a good alternative to it... Playground AI > https://playgroundai.com/
I'm currently tinkering with it and so far I'm quite impressed by it. Have a shot at it while we wait for SD to (hopefully) reopen again.
I have a question. Do we have unlimited uses on Playground AI? Thank you

Yes, unlimited uses for all. Completely free.
HERE IT IS... seems it's moved... https://clipdrop.co/stable-diffusion
AND this is their site too... https://dreamstudio.ai/generate
Well, that's good I suppose... but it isn't the same. The creator this space should've told us.
sdxl new version is here, and better too, try this https://huggingface.co/spaces/hysts/SD-XL
The SDXL version is not the same as the SD 2.0, in my opinion 2.0 was way better than XL and should definitely be brought back instead of replacing it

I'm having a hard time calling it "better". Single output fails four out of five times after about a 10+ minute queue and process. Clipdrop is looking like the exact polar opposite of an improvement in UI and functionality, as well...constant commercial stoppages for the "pro" plan every time you commit a prompt, making prompt changes requires dropping back out from one environment to another and ditching the product to review, everything about it is just freemium app workstop distraction. What is the reasoning behind indefinitely pausing this testing space and not communicating with those using it? To try and put testers and devs on a pay tier over on Clipdrop? If that's the case, then actually plugging Clipdrop somewhere in the community discussion might have been apropos. The number of "please unpause this space" posts bear witness to how most everyone in this community got left in the lurch, whatever the plan was.
why it pause stable diffusion 2.1 ???
why it pause stable diffusion 2.1 ???
Nobody knows...
I've taken to using PlaygroundAI as it's thus far the least distracting option which accepts negative prompts (it's still using XL instead of 2.1 though). Still throttles you after 1k outputs, as well, so that's another deterrent. If anyone finds a better alternative, this would be a great place to link it.
...and thanks for finding PlaygroundAI for us, Bryn.
(it's still using XL instead of 2.1 though)
That's only under the "Canvas" bit. On "Board", you have Stable Diffusion 2.1 enabled by default (though you can also switch to SD 1.5 and even use negative prompts with that).
And you're very much welcome ๐
i found a free stable diffusion website you can try it electrosion.web.app
