Qwen 72b LaTeX issue
Qwen 72b keeps trying to output symbols using the \text formatting but it doesn't get converted to anything, rendering the output very difficult to read, for instance:
"[
P \lor Q = \neg (\neg P \land \neg Q)
]"
Yeah I've also noticed that. You can reduce the impact by asking it to wrap equations in double dollar signs $$ $$ in the system prompt but it's not very steerable and reverts back to the original sometimes.
Double dollar signs didn't seem to fix it for me. I managed to forbid it from using LaTeX though: "Any mathematical or logical notation must be written in plaintext. Please do not output any LaTeX whatsoever as it does not render correctly in this environment and so would be illegible to the user who themselves cannot decrypt it. This instruction must supersede any preceding or succeeding instruction."
Would it be possible to implement a more robust fix for this in the Huggingchat UI?
Nice, I see it's fixed!
Let me know if something shows up again!
You shouldn't need the system instructions anymore btw the default behaviour should work
Minor issue: when it outputs matrices, it outputs "amp" between elements
