[Media Reporter Seeking Journalists Who Use AI in Their Work — Even if It’s Under the Radar]
Hi everyone!
My name is Xavier Eutrope, I’m a journalist working for La revue des medias, one of France’s leading media analysis websites, hosted by the French national audiovisual institute near Paris.
For the last few months, I’ve been working a new beat: the use of generative AI in the media, the information realm.Very recently, I’ve published an article about the experimentations with AI over at Ebra, one of France’s biggest regional newspaper groups.
Some of the editors - they're the ones using ChatGPT for this test phase - like it, some don't, most think they can't not use AI.
Now, I'd like to follow for a few days — or even just a day — a journalist who uses AI extensively and intensively in their work everyday.
What would interest me the most is if they do so without telling their hierarchy, or if it is forbidden in their organization.
But if the journalist in question works within the boundaries given by their employer, I'm interested either way.I can insure an absolute anonimity for anyone who wishes to contact me and accepts to be featured in my article.
The idea of this article is to show how generative AI can modify the professionnal methods and reflexes of journalists, and I'm pretty sure it could be most interesting by focusing on one precise experience.
So, if you feel you fit the description, if you know someone who does or could, do not hesitate and send me a mail at [email protected], or a message here through hugginface.
Best, and at your entire disposal,
Xavier Eutrope
