# Welcome to the GGUF Model Community!
This is a place where users can easily find and access a large collection of quantized models in GGUF format. We create a space for exchanging and searching for models that meet any needs and requirements.
## How to Join | |
To join, you must have more than 80 quantized models in GGUF format. Once you meet this requirement, feel free to apply and become a part of our growing community.
## What We Offer | |
- A large collection of GGUF models for any purpose
- A space for sharing, exchanging, and discovering models
- A community of like-minded people working with GGUF format models
## Adding Models to Category-Specific Collections
All community members have the right to contribute models from their accounts to the community's category-specific collections. A model can be added to a collection if it either:
1. Is the specified model itself (e.g., Llama-3.1-8B), or
2. Is based on that model (e.g., Llama-3.1-Tulu-3-8B).
Examples of category-specific collections include:
- 🦙Llama | |
- ✨Gemma | |
These collections focus on specific models or model families.
## Creating General Collections
Members can also create **general collections**, which bring together different models under a broader theme. For example:
- 💬Chat: Models optimized for conversational AI
- 🛡️Guard: Models designed for identifying harmful or unsafe content
Each collection must have an emoji at the beginning of its name, followed by the collection's title in the format `[Emoji][Name]`.
You can explore existing collections for inspiration and reference on [this page](https://hf.co/collections/itlwas).
We look forward to seeing you join and contribute to the community! |
