Some Suggestions to Google AI Edge Gallery from INDIA

Hey Google, Google AI Edge Gallery is the best offline app, but please improve Indian languages because when we write to the AI in Gujarati, it starts using Hindi instead of Gujarati and responds in English. And my Gujarati responses contain wrong knowledge or incorrect information. Google Translate also works offline and translates accurately offline, but this AI doesn't understand what's written; it lacks comprehension. So, Google Translate's features should be included, along with some of the accuracy found in online AI models. Also, you could add a technology like NotebookLLM where users can add their own data like texts, PDFs, and the AI can interact with that data to provide answers. There's a need to develop such technology. And for mobile, there should be separate, small-sized LLM models, as large-sized models consume more mobile battery; that should also be considered. Create offline AI models that have less impact on battery and run smoothly on mobile. And provide the option to include our own data within the AI Models app.

Hi @indosai ,

Welcome to Google Gemma family of open source models, thank you so much for your valuable feedback. The 3n variants of Gemma models have a novel architecture that allows them to run with a smaller number of effective parameters and are designed for efficient execution on low-resource devices.  To know more about Gemma 3n variants please visit the following page. Regarding the native language concern I'm escalating the request to internal team. Please reach out to me if you need any further assistance.

Thanks.
