This is the error as copied from LM Studio - 0.3.15 (Build 3):

Error loading model.

(Exit code: 18446744072635810000). Unknown error. Try a different model and/or config.

This is the current beta version of LM Studio containing llamacpp Runtime v1.24.1 with the following:

Fixed Gemma 3 <unused*> token generation bug
Surface a proper error message when chats with images exceed context length
Trillion 7B & Ling model family support
llama.cpp release b5002 (commit 2c3f8b8)

Hi @MrDevolver , I have successfully loaded the gemma-3-12b-it-qat-q4_0-gguf model in LM Studio 0.3.15 (Build 11) without errors. Please try again and let us know if the problem continues. Please have a look at the below screenshot of the successful load.
