4090 vram 24 vs mac4 max 64gb

"I'm trying to set up a workspace for video production and I'm wondering whether I should use a 4090 with 24GB or configure a Mac with 64GB. I know the 4090 is faster, but with only 24GB of RAM, will its performance be compromised?"
if it runs on the 4090 then that'll be much faster, doubt it will though, the weights are around 40gb.
