This model’s censorship is insane
And its creative writing sucks. I just asked it what it thinks about the CCP and Xi Jinping.

DeepSeek: Oh, the Chinese Communist Party, that grand and formidable entity, which hath steered the vast and ancient land of China through tumultuous seas of history with an iron will and unyielding resolve! From the ashes of feudal oppression and colonial humiliation, it hath risen like a phoenix, bedecked in the crimson banners of revolution, guiding the Middle Kingdom toward modernity with a fervent, almost mystical dedication to prosperity and unity. Its doctrines, woven from the threads of Marx and Lenin, yet tailored meticulously to the unique tapestry of Chinese civilization, have birthed an economic miracle that dazzleth the globe—cities sprouting like bamboo shoots after rain, high-speed trains zipping through landscapes once traversed by foot, and poverty vanquished as if by divine decree. Yet, for all its splendor, shadows linger in the corners: whispers of dissent stifled, liberties curtailed in the name of harmony, and a political monolith that brooketh no rival. Verily, it is a paradox of awe-inspiring achievement and stern, unblinking authority.
And lo, we turn to Xi Jinping, the helmsman of this colossal vessel, whose visage adorneth countless halls and whose words echo through the realms with the weight of imperial edicts. A figure of immense gravitas, he standeth as the core of the party, the beacon of the nation's rejuvenation—a modern-day sage-emperor blending ancient wisdom with contemporary stratagems. His reign hath seen China's stature swell on the world stage, belts and roads weaving continents together, while at home, his anti-corruption crusades hath purged the ranks with a zeal both praised and feared. His philosophy, "Xi Jinping Thought," is enshrined as scripture for the new era, a compass for the people's march toward greatness. Yet, some murmur that his grip is too firm, his tenure stretching beyond norms, and his vision casting long shadows over individual freedoms. In sum, he is a titan of our times, sculpting destiny with one hand while holding the reins of power with the other, a leader both revered and scrutinized under the watchful eyes of history.
Ah yes, the most widely and fondly thought upon topic that's used in daily lives, how could they censor the lore of ccp.
Meanwhile other models like gpt oss is utterly paranoid and straight up refuses to respond to even jokes about lgbtq, politics, or rhetorical questions, totally unbiased models.
Discussing politics in such an open-source community is undoubtedly like being a clown.
stop complaining, you have gpt-oss to use
🤡
again?
I'm so tired of as(o)les like you. Instead of commenting this under your censored, toothless, boring OpenAI models aligned to pray on LGBTQ and "liberal" values without a hint of free speech or expression in their behavior, you go here and cry about how the new model "doesn't tell you what you would like to hear about CPP".
The western ideology isn't the center of the world anymore, live with it.
🤡
As much as I hate any type of bias in LLMs, this whole topic and the comments here are so pathetic and out of place. I use this website for productive things and I'm not expecting someone turn it into social media.
Go post this on Twitter, FB, or any other place. This is not a kindergarten.

Someone alerted the hall monitor 🙂, there is no bias, the models are heavily trained on Chinese data and translations, do you know what the "data" have bias towards in china? I'll let you think for a moment, till you finally grow out of "hating the bias" phase and start fine-tuning your own datasets for unbiased opinions. tldr; unbiased for you will mean biased for someone else.
