Join us for an exciting week-long adventure into the world of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI Agents! Let's push together the boundaries of what's possible with MCP and AI Agentic systems.

π How to Participate

- Register: Fill out the registration form by clicking on the yellow button above (or clicking here)
- Form a Team (optional): You can participate as an individual or as a team of 2-5 members
- Build Your Project: Follow the specific guidelines for your chosen track β¬οΈ
- Submit: Push your project (in the form of a Space) to this organization before the deadline (June 8, 2025, 11:59 PM UTC)

π οΈ Hackathon Tracks
π§ Track 1: MCP Tool / Server: Did you know that any Gradio app can also be an MCP server/tool? Extend the capabilities of your favorite LLM by building a Gradio app to accomplish any specific task and share your Space/MCP tool here.
π§© Track 2: Custom Components for Agents: Do you wish that a particular Gradio component existed? Would it make your life easier or your agent interfaces more intuitive or powerful if one did? This is your chance to put your Python and JavaScript skills to the test and create your own Gradio custom component for agent applications.
π€ Track 3: Agentic Demo Showcase: In this general category, create any kind of Gradio app that demonstrates the power of AI agents (using MCP tools or not). Show us the most incredible things that your agents can do!

Track 1: MCP Server / Tool
- Your submission should be a Gradio app Space that is also an MCP Server

a (link to a) video recording of your MCP server in action using any MCP Client (e.g. Claude Desktop, Cursor, Tiny Agents). If you are using another Gradio app as an MCP Client, that is also an acceptable, you can link to that Space.
Track 2: Custom Components for Agents
- Create a custom Gradio component using Gradio 5 and publish it to Spaces using

Q: Do I need to have experience with Agents or MCP to participate? A: No! We welcome participants of all skill levels. We'll provide resources to help you get started and be available throughout the week on Discord to help answer any questions.
Q: Can I participate as an individual? A: Yes! You can participate as an individual or in a team of up to 5 members.
Q: How will projects be judged? A: Projects will be evaluated based on innovation, technical implementation, usability, and impact. Community likes on Spaces will also be considered.
Q: Will there be support available during the hackathon? A: Yes! We'll have regular office hours with experts, a dedicated Discord channel, and comprehensive documentation.
*First 'n' verified participants will receive API/Compute credits from our sponsors to develop their submissions during the event hackathon.
