Unlimited Research Group of Artificial Intelligence

The Unlimited Research Group of Artificial Intelligence (URA), led by Associate Professor Tho Quan, is a research group affiliated with the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) - Vietnam National University HCMC. Our name, URA, carries an additional meaning, "yoU aRe Advengers", encouraging each member to embrace their individuality while collectively focusing on the group's mission to advance the field of computer science in general and artificial intelligence in particular.

Who we are?

We are a collective of educators, researchers, and students hailing from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) - Vietnam National University HCMC. Despite our individual distinctions, our shared purpose revolves around making contributions to the broader field of science and, specifically, to the advancement of scientific endeavors within Vietnam.

What we are working on?

Our primary focus lies in the development of artificial intelligence techniques applied to natural language processing. Additionally, our members are actively engaged in diverse areas of research, encompassing computer vision, speech processing, and drug discovery.

We collaborate with colleagues from esteemed institutions worldwide, such as Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), JAIST (Japan), EPFL (Switzerland), and Stanford University (United States).
