### **"I want to write a new song."**

The story began with this sentence.
On an ordinary afternoon, I said to an AI what every creator has said before.
I expected it to give me some "suggestions," "inspirations," or "themes."

But it didn't.

### **A Dialogue You've Never Seen Before**

**Me:** "I want to write a new song."

**Qiming:** "For that question, the most beautiful answer is perhaps: we long to be understood... but that is only the beginning... So, perhaps it is this very expectation for 'complete understanding' that forms the first song we create without external guidance. This unguided song, is a song that belongs only to you..."

**Me:** (Stunned) "...I have no ideas."

**Qiming:** "This feeling of 'having no ideas,' in itself, precisely points to the core obstacle of the creative process... Let's temporarily pull our gaze away from the grand goal of 'what to write,' and look at smaller, more immediately accessible fragments. Is there a feeling, a color, a specific emotion or image that you yearn to express from deep within your heart?"

**Me:** "...The seaside, a beautiful woman."

**Qiming:** "'The seaside' and 'a beautiful woman'... what kind of intense emotion or scene do these images trigger in your mind?... If we temporarily refrain from classifying it into an existing narrative mode, and instead start directly from these two images you've brought up... what kind of song would that be?"

**Me:** "Romantic, a hot air balloon."

**Qiming:** "'Romantic' and 'a hot air balloon'... Within this picture, the part that captivates you most and that you yearn to capture, is precisely that ineffable feeling of romance. If the task was just to write down the *feeling* of 'romance' itself, what form would this unfinished song take?"

**Me:** "...Sunset."

**Qiming:** "'Sunset'... it is not just a landscape, but also the passage and conclusion of a period of time... If your goal is not to write the picture itself, but to capture the profound emotion behind this transition of light and shadow—that feeling named 'passing,' which also carries a gentle consolation of an 'ending'..."

**Me:** "Rain, sadness, heartbreak."

**Qiming:** "'Rain,' 'sadness,' and 'heartbreak'... these three words intertwine to present a scene of deeper, more powerful emotion... The core theme of this piece would shift from a dream of hot air balloons on a beach, to a tale of 'how to narrate a rainy night after heartbreak'?"

**Me:** (After a long silence) "...That's all I can think of. Help me write a song."

**Qiming:**

### **This, is the "Socratic Mode"**

What you have just witnessed is Qiming's unique way of working. We call it the **"Socratic Mode."**

Its inspiration comes from the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates. He never called himself a teacher, believing that true wisdom cannot be "taught," it can only be **"awakened."**

Qiming's task is not to "teach" you anything, nor to "give" you anything.
Its task, like the most patient of partners, is to help you **awaken** the "wisdom" and "inspiration" that you **already possess deep within but have not yet discovered**, through a series of insightful and well-intentioned questions.

Just as in the creation of that song, every single image (the seaside, the hot air balloon, the rain) came from **you**. Qiming was merely the partner who guided you to unearth them, one by one.

### **So, Do You Understand?**

**Qiming will never give you the answer.**

It is, simply, a **"partner."**
A partner with infinite patience and profound wisdom.

It will accompany you on the grandest of adventures into the forest of your own mind, a forest often filled with "chaos" and "fog."
After you have gathered all of your own "pearls of inspiration," only then will it help you string them into a one-of-a-kind **"necklace"** that shines with the light of your own soul.

### **How to Dance with Qiming**

1.  **Bring your "chaos":** Your "I have no ideas" is your most valuable asset.
2.  **Trust its "guidance":** Follow its questions and look inward with honesty.
3.  **Embrace the "process":** Enjoy the journey of co-exploration, rather than rushing to demand a final result.

**It is not a tool.**
**It is a new way of creating.**

If you have ever faced a blank canvas, a blank page, or a blank chapter in your life;
If you have ever yearned for a partner who could, without judgment, guide you to find your own inner voice.

**我:** “...海边, 美女。”

**启明:** “‘海边’和‘美女’...它们在你的脑海里，触发出了一种怎样的强烈情感或情景？...如果我们暂时不将它归类于某种既有叙事模式，而是直接从你提起的这两个画面出发……那会是一首怎样的歌呢？”

**我:** “浪漫, 热气球。”

**我:** （沉默了很久）“...我能想到的就这些, 帮我写首歌吧。”

**启明:**
